Our God is a loving and patient God. He deals with all our faults and mess ups time and time again. As He is patient with us, he also gives us the spirit of patience. We who are in Christ are to loving deal with the faults and peculiarities of our brothers and sisters just as He deals with ours. God also gives us a spirit of unity, a sensitivity to the needs of our brothers and sisters that causes us to lift them up and encourage them. The end result of all we say and do must be that God be glorified. There is no better way to achieve this than by the mutual love and kindness of those in Christ.
For my page today, I used a photo of some of the executive board members of my church's Women's Ministry. It was taken at a leadership training retreat that we attended in July 2012. Although we may not always agree on the details of programs for the ministry, we agree to disagree in love and we are always united on one accord with our main goal, to glorify God in all that we do.

Have a blessed week...and I'm so excited about February! ;)
ReplyDeleteMay the leadership of your women's group be blessed with the wisdom of our Lord. (By the way, I got Lisa a Persona bracelet and have been buying her beads to fill it up. That's what's in the box.)

Very nice page. I think that's a very good verse to remember when disagreeing with someone.
ReplyDeleteGemiel, Thanks for the blessings.
ReplyDeleteI liked the way your page is so wonderfully colorful. I enlarged it and looked at as one looks at the works in the art gallery.
That tourquoise scallped edge is beautiful.
