Word Art Wednesday #99

Welcome back to Word Art Wednesday.  This week we have more word art  from the Book of Psalms...

God is the Creator.  No one on this earth would exist without Him.  God created us and he desires for us to to be in relationship with Him.  We are His people and he wants to care for us as a shepherd cares for his sheep.  We are helpless without Him, but with Him, all things are possible.

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.
Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
                                                                                    Psalm 100 KJV

Here's another photo from my Grandmother's album.  It's of  Alice and Millie...friends or family, I'm not sure, but they're dressed to impress with their white stockings.  The flowers on the top left of the photo are digi stamps from one of this week's sponsors Deedee's Digis.

Word Art Wednesday #98

Welcome to Word Art Wednesday.  This week's word art comes from the Book of Psalms...

Psalm 91 is a Psalm of protection, it's a Psalm of security.  It's about the protection God offers us when we have a personal relationship with Him. But to abide in the shadow of the Almighty we must first choose to dwell in the shelter of the Most High.  God wants a relationship with us, but he doesn't force Himself upon us.  The choice is ours.  As for me,  I choose to dwell in His shelter.

Today I have some exciting news to share...Daydream Designs digi stamp store has reopened!!  Those of you that have been following my blog for awhile may remember that I used to be on the Daydream Designs design team.  The store closed for awhile, but now it's reopened with a new format, some new artists, and lots of new stamps. And I was asked to be a member of the new design team!  I said yes, so be on the lookout for my layouts using Daydream Designs digis in the near future.  In honor of the new design team, Diane Noble (the owner) is offering lots of free digis on the Daydream Designs Blog.  They are only available until September 22,  so be sure to stop by.

Our Word Art for today was created by Daydream Designs and they are one of this week's sponsors.  The image on my layout is from the Daydream Designs Birds and Bees Color Set.  The photo is from last summer's family vacation. It's of my niece, husband, sister-in-law, and son trying to find refuge from the excessive heat at the Grand Canyon. They found a little shelter under a clump of trees.

I hope you join the Word Art Wednesday challenge this week. Feel free to save today's word art to your computer for your personal use. Word Art Wednesday #97

Welcome to Word Art Wednesday.  This week's word art comes form the Book of Colossians...

Our speech is an index of our character. How we say what we say can make a big difference.  Our speech should reflect the grace of God in our lives. It should be a witness to all those we encounter

I used a photo of myself on my layout today.  The photo was taken when I was speaking at Vacation Bible School this summer.

Word Art Wednesday #96

Hi, welcome to this week's Word Art Wednesday challenge.  This week's word is from the Book of Isaiah...

Patiently waiting on the Lord reflects an attitude of trusting and hoping in Him.  There is no place for faith if we expect God to immediately fulfil His promises.   But those who faithfully wait on the Lord are renewed in strength, so that they can continue to serve Him while they wait for His promises to be realized.

My Dad love eagles and he has all sorts of eagle figurines and statues all over the house.  Living in Philadelphia, of course he's an Eagles fan too.  So on a visit to Busch Gardens years ago, he and TJ had to take a photo with the resident eagle...
