God is the Creator. No one on this earth would exist without Him. God created us and he desires for us to to be in relationship with Him. We are His people and he wants to care for us as a shepherd cares for his sheep. We are helpless without Him, but with Him, all things are possible.
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.
Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
Psalm 100 KJV
Here's another photo from my Grandmother's album. It's of Alice and Millie...friends or family, I'm not sure, but they're dressed to impress with their white stockings. The flowers on the top left of the photo are digi stamps from one of this week's sponsors Deedee's Digis.
I hope you join the Word Art Wednesday challenge this week. Feel free to save today's word art to your computer for your personal use. Check out the Word Art Wednesday Challenge Blog to see what the other design team members created with this week's word art. If you are new to our challenge, check out the challenge guidelines to find out how you can be eligible for the prize drawing from this week's sponsors Deedee's Digis and My Craft Spot.
Thanks for stopping by. Blessings to you!
Oh Gemiel I love that verse, and the way you have used it on that beautiful layout is fabulous. Love the way you have mirrored the dp with the digi stamped flowers.

ReplyDeleteYour layout is gorgeous, what a lovely way to display the picture of your grandmother and her friend. A treasure for sure! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteOh wow what a gorgeous page, Gemiel! The colors you used really make that sweet, vintage image shine. I appreciate the message in this week's verse so much. It is humbling and yet something to rejoice in. Thanks to you and your team for having me this week, and for showcasing the digis so beautifully! :-)
ReplyDeleteYou have the most wonderful collection of vintage photographs, and you always give them such lovely treatments with your beautiful page layouts. Psalm 100 fits the photo well, because they girls look so happy, probably in their knowledge of the Lord. Blessings!
