Word Art Wednesday #63

Happy Wednesday!  Today's word art is from the Book of Revelations...

To be totally honest,  when I read today's word I wasn't exactly sure what it was saying.  Sometimes reading the verse in a couple different translations provides clarity for me, so I decided to read it from the New International Version and the New Living Translation.

To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of lifeNIV

To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life.  NLT

Jesus is the living water, the water of life.  He is our salvation, the only way to the Father and eternal life.  Salvation is ours for the asking.  It isn't forced on anyone,  but given freely, without cost, to all who desire it.  The water of life, an ever flowing fountain,  is given freely to all who are thirsty.  Won't you have a drink?

The photo on my layout today is from our family reunion this summer in California.  It was taken at the Exposition Park Rose Garden in Los Angeles, where we posed for our family photo, in front of a beautiful fountain.  My prayer for my family is that they all drink from the spring of the water of life so they will thirst no more.

  3. Gemiel,
It is a wonderful prayer, and we should all be praying it over our families. The picture is heartwarming, the very young one and then an older one. Perhaps we should pray that they will all be athirst. The You page is lovely, your work is an inspiration to many.
