Word Art Wednesday #30

Happy Wednesday!!!  Time for some word art.  Today's word art is one of my favorite scriptures...

We try to impress upon our teenage son that you don't have to walk around quoting scripture or beating people over the head with the bible to let your light shine.  Your light can shine through your everyday behavior...the way you carry yourself and what you say, how you treat others and how you react to the way they treat you.  Your light shines when you display the fruit of the, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (see Galatians 5:22).

The photo I choose for my layout today is a perfect example of letting your light shine.  It's a photo of the teen volunteers in our church's Awana program at the year end awards ceremony.  These high school students come faithfully every Wednesday evening to assist the Awana leaders and help the children learn their scripture verses.  And they have their own bible study at the end of the Awana night. I can think of a million places a teenager would love to be on a Wednesday night,  but these teens choose to be about the Father's business...and they are letting their lights' shine!!
