Word Art Wednesday #26

It's Word Art Wednesday time!!!!  This week's word art comes from the book of Nahum.

Nahum is one of the shorter books of the bible...only 3 chapters.  It's main focus is God's judgement on the city of Nineveh because of it's idolatry and wickedness. God is slow to anger, but he does not leave the guilty unpunished. However, for those of us who trust in him, he is a refuge in times of trouble.  No matter how bad things may seem, God looks after those who love Him.

For my layout I used a photo of me (far right) and 3 of my sisters in Christ at a women's conference last November.

Supplies:
Sei Patterned Paper and Die Cuts
Spellbinders Labels 23
Papertrey Ink Buttons
Bazzill Gems

I hope you join the Word Art Wednesday challenge this week. Check out the Word Art Wednesday Challenge Blog to see what the other design team members created with this week's art. Be sure to check out the challenge guidelines to find out how you can be eligible for the weekly prize drawing from this week's sponsor Detailed 4U Collections .

Thanks for stopping by today.  Be blessed.

  2. Love your layout, Gemiel and love the WORDart and your brief exhortation! As those who trust in Him, we are told that trouble will come our way, but it is not for our harm, it is for our eternal good and. . .He is our stronghold (not so much that we're holding on to Him, but that He is holding us!! What a comfort!!) Thanks!!! Blessings to you, talented friend and sister!

    1. Hi Gemiel, Thanks so much for linking this delightful scrapbook page to Scripture Thursday. You and your friends look like you're having a wonderful time. I like this verse from WAW, especially the phrase "a strong hold in the day of trouble". Such reasuring words from the one who can help us more than anyone on earth. ~ Abby
