Word Art Wednesday #22

Hi Everyone!!  It's Wednesday, time for some new word art.  This week's word comes from the Book of Psalms.

In this Psalm of David,  David expresses his love for the Lord and some of the things that the Lord is to him.  These attributes of God are not just for David,  they are for all of His children.  I think we as Christians know that God is all these things for us,  but do we really live our lives as if we do?  In times of trouble, do we fully rely on the Lord,  our rock, fortress and deliverer, or do we look for deliverence of our own strength or in wordly things.  Do we put all of our trust in God?

For my layout I used a photo of my brother and me, taken at the Garden of the Gods Park in Colorado Springs, CO in 1972.  If you click on the layout to enlarge it, you just might be able to see us.  We look like ants standing in front of one of the giant red rock formations.

  3. Gemiel what a wonderful page and what a wonderful reminder that with God all things are possible, but when we try to do it of our own strength, it never comes out right. I had to take this on in my job this week and this is just a reminder to me that God does a lot better job than I could every do! Hugs to you dear sister in Christ!

  6. Gemeil, I'm so happy to see you linking this to Scripture Thursday. Your scrapbook layouts always are so well done. Love the photo, the old station wagon reminds me of our family car at the time. This verse of course is the best part, and your photo is a good reminder of how strong and powerful a rock is. Thanks! ~ Abby

  7. Hello Gemeil. Just wondering how you do the verse. Is it a stamp or a sticker. I would like to put this verse at the top of a print of "The Giant's Causeway" which is a huge rock formation in Northern Ireland.
