It's time for a new scrapbook challenge over
at MFP SpeedyTV. This week's challenge is a color challenge. Purple is the favorite color of most of the MFP scrapbook team members, so your challenge is to create a layout using the color purple. You can use any shade of purple that you like and the amount of purple you use and how you incorporate it on your page is entirely up to you. Remember this challenge is strictly scrapbook layouts, no cards please, and you have to use stamps on your layouts. You don't have to use Marks
Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co stamps, but if you do you will receive an
additional entry for the a chance to win our weekly prize set for
April...
"Little Church"
I used another photo from my grandmother's album for my page. The woman in the picture is my grandfather's niece. I just love her outfit, vintage by today's standards, but so fashionable in her day. The purple flowers on the page are stamped with the MFP Ivy and Blossoms stamp set, fussy cut and colored with PrismaColor pencils. I added little purple gems for their centers.
Supplies:
Webster's Pages Patterned Paper and Ribbon
MFP Ivy & Blossoms Stamp Set
MFP Ivy & Blossoms Stamp Set
Graphic 45 Die Cut
Queen & Co Gems
Heidi Swapp Color Shine
Spellbinders Die
Memento Ink
Close to My Heart Ink
PrismaColor Pencils
I can't wait to see what you create
for this week's challenge! To be eligible to win the free stamp set be sure to link
your page to MFP SpeedyTV Scrapbook Challenge #9 and
mention the MFPSpeedyTV Scrapbook Challenge
in your blog post. Please do not submit any
back linked layouts. You have until 9:00 pm on Wednesday April 10th to
submit your layouts.
