How you like me now! ....

...is what is written at the bottom of a photo of one of my maternal grandmother's friends.  That caption is just as priceless as the photo itself.  It gives me some insight into my grandmother's personality in her younger years.  Her friend Catherine seems to be full of sass and I imagine was fun to be around.

I used a digi stamp from Daydream Designs on my layout.  It's from the Vintage Button Cards collection. Instead of just printing the button card and tucking it somewhere on my page as an embellishment,  I enlarged it and used it to frame the photo.

I am also sharing this at Word Art Wednesday: Challenge 114 - Anything Goes.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you're somewhere keeping warm!

Blessings!

  4. I haven't heard sass for a while. Another harmonious page which to me is a real achievement. I have some little button cards that were in my maternal Grandmothers treadle Singer sewing machine. You had some very beautiful elements to work with. I like seeing your art so very much Gemiel thank you for sharing it with us at WAW. It is delightful to see your wonderful art posted in this week’s creative challenge at Word Art Wednesday.
