MFP Scrapbook Challenge #23

It's time for a new scrapbook challenge over at  Mark's Finest Papers SpeedyTV.  We have a great challenge this week so I hope you'll play along.
.
This week's challenge is a die cut challenge.  Your challenge is to create a layout of any theme using die cuts or punched shapes.  You can also fussy cut a stamped image for this challenge.

Remember this challenge is strictly scrapbook layouts, no cards please, and you have to use stamps on your layouts. They don't have to be Marks Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co stamps but if you do use them you will receive an additional entry for a chance to win our weekly stamp prize for July ...

I used another photo from my grandmother's album today.  This time it's my mother's brother, my Uncle Wayne. He was about 2 years younger than my mom, who was the oldest.  He was about 14 or 15 in this photo.  Uncle Wayne grew up to be a preacher and he was truly a man of God who lived what he preached.  I was fortunate enough to get to spend some time with him during his short lifetime...God called him home in his 40's.

I used stamps  from the MFP  In My Den stamp set for this page.  They coordinated with the photo perfectly. I colored them with Copics, fussy cut and mounted them on my page.  I also used several Lifestyle Crafts and Spellbinders dies to round out the challenge..

I can't wait to see what you create for this week's challenge! To be eligible to win the July stamp be sure to link your page to MFPSpeedyTV Scrapbook Challenge #23  and mention the MFPSpeedyTV Scrapbook Challenge in your blog post. Please do not submit any back linked layouts. You have until 9:00 pm on Wednesday July 17th to submit your layouts.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Blessings to you!
